Second Floor Of Alewife Parking Garage Closed Due To Falling Concrete

BOSTON (CBS) – The Alewife parking garage temporarily lost about 500 spaces on Thursday.

The entire second floor was closed after a piece of concrete fell on a car.

It happened Wednesday afternoon. No one was hurt.

Engineers say the garage is safe to use. Crews worked through the night to make repairs.

Officials began checking the other floors for any possible issues.
