4 Arrested In Millis Attack

MILLIS (CBS) - Four people were arrested early Tuesday morning after an attack in MetroWest.

Millis police say a woman called 911 around 1 a.m. saying her friend was being beaten near the intersection of Milliston Road and Main Street.

The victim, an unidentified man, was rushed to Tufts Medical Center on a MedFlight rescue helicopter.

Police told WBZ-TV his injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.

The four suspects - Ephraim Hunter of Millis, Xavier Frederick and Leonard Ward of Stoughton, and Devin Connolly of Canton - were found in a van near the scene of the attack, police said.

All four will be arraigned in Wrentham District Court Tuesday on charges related to the assault.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
