WEYMOUTH (CBS) -- More than 2,000 marijuana plants and $75,000 in cash have been seized in a massive pot bust, police say.

Authorities said three men have been charged in a "major marijuana growing operation spanning several towns."

Police from Weymouth, Randolph, Braintree, Carver, Quincy, Massachusetts State Police, and the Plymouth and Norfolk County Sheriff's Departments worked with a Drug Enforcement Agency task force to search seven residences and two vehicles.

The marijuana plants were in "various stages of growth," police said. In addition to the plants and money, four vehicles, a stun gun, three assault rifles and 19 other guns were seized.
