Two people were hurt. Boston EMS took them to Tufts Medical Center  - one with a serious head injury and another with a minor injury. The victim with a minor injury has since been released from the hospital.

The site is a 33-story residential high rise under construction.

There's no official word yet on what caused the collapse.

Structural engineers will determine when construction can resume.

According to CBT Architects, which is designing the building, the complex "will offer 400 studio, 1-, and 2-bed units with amenities that include fitness, a sky pavilion and terrace, lobby/lounge and a public open-air fore court."

Real estate company AvalonBay is in charge of the project.

"We are fully cooperating with the Fire Department investigation and are in contact with representatives of OSHA," Senior Vice President of Development Michael Roberts said in a statement.
