2 Drivers Killed In Head-On Crash On Route 44 In Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO (CBS/AP) - Two drivers were killed in a two-car crash on Route 44 in Middleboro Tuesday afternoon.
The vehicles collided head-on around 1 p.m. near the Holiday Inn Express.
The drivers were later identified as 64-year-old Dennis Canning of Middleboro and 30-year-old Kimberly Bebare of Ames, Iowa.
Both died on impact.
Neither vehicle had any passengers, but a dog in Bebare's car survived and is in the care of the town's animal control officer.
There's no word yet on what caused the crash.
