19th Annual Immigrants' Day At The State House

On Tuesday April 14th a special event took place at the State House, where more than 500 immigrants and advocates came together to celebrate the 19th Annual Immigrants' Day. This is the largest immigrant advocacy day of the year! On this edition of Centro, WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with Franklin Soults from MIRA (Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advovacy Coalition), a non-profit organization which advocates for immigrant rights.
