1 Dead, 1 Injured In Chelsea Shooting

CHELSEA (CBS) -- A double shooting in Chelsea left a 29-year-old man dead and another injured early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting occurred at an apartment building on Chester Ave. at about 3:05 a.m., according to Chelsea police.

The 29-year-old was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital but succumbed to his injuries, officials said. A 34-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both men were from Chelsea but did not live in the apartment building.
