Woman Puts Hand In Purse, Indicating She Had A Gun In Hotel Robbery
LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ)— Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a hotel robbery in Linthicum.
A clerk at the Springhill Suites in the 800-block of Elkridge Landing Road reported a woman entered the hotel, asked if there were vacancies and then asked for the location of the bathroom. She then returned to the counter with her hand in her purse, suggesting that she had a gun, and demanded money from the register.
The clerk complied. The woman walked out of the hotel with an undisclosed amount of money and then entered into a black, two door vehicle occupied by a male suspect in the front seat and possibly an unidentified male in the back seat.
Officers weren't able to find the suspects.
The suspect is described as a white woman in her late 30s, approximately 5'7" with an athletic build and light brown hair in a ponytail, wearing black frame glasses, a pink tank top and gray sweat pants. The suspect in the car is described as a white/Hispanic male with slicked back black hair. A description of the third suspect is unknown.
