Woman Found Dead In Owings Mills Home, Police Investigating

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in Baltimore County are investigating what they're calling a suspicious death of a woman in Owings Mills.

The Baltimore County Police Department said the woman's family members found her dead in her home in the 300 block of Lantana Drive late Friday morning.

Neighbors tell WJZ the victim was friendly and loved her dog.

"It's very sad what had happened," Morry Kasoff, a neighbor of the victim, said.

Neighbors said they're on edge as investigators work to figure out what happened.

"It's a very nice neighborhood," Kasoff said. "I'm shocked it happened."

"It's a little bit frightening to be perfectly honest," another neighbor told WJZ.

Baltimore County Police said this investigation is in the early stages. No further information is available at this time.
