Woman Dies Of Injuries After Howard County Crash
COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Howard County Police say a woman injured in a single-car crash in Columbia has died.
Officers say about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, 83-year-old Toshiko Nakaya Mecklenburg of Columbia was driving east on Old Annapolis Road. Police say the car failed to make a curve and hit an embankment.
Mecklenburg was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where police say she died Sunday.
