Woman At Rockville Metro Station Hit And Killed By Bus
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a 62-year-old northern Virginia woman was hit by a bus and killed at the Rockville Metro Station.
Police say Anicia Caringal of Falls Church, Va., was walking across the station entrance on Tuesday night when she was struck by a Ride-On bus turning into the entrance. She was taken to a local hospital, where police say she died.
The crash remains under investigation. Police say detectives would like to hear from two passengers who were on the bus at the time of the crash, but left before officers arrived.
