Flights Destined For BWI Thurgood Marshall Grounded Due To Weather

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Federal Aviation Administration on Monday issued a ground stop for flights destined for BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.

"Departures to Baltimore-Washington International are grounded due to snow or ice," the FAA said. "Probably of extension is medium (30-60%)."

As of noon Monday, there were 85 delays for outgoing and incoming flights, while another 196 flights were canceled.
