Baltimore County Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Windsor Mill Tuesday Afternoon
WINDSOR MILL, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Windsor Mill Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called around 2:15 p.m. to the intersection of Dogwood Road and Lord Baltimore Drive. At first, police said they were called for a shooting but later they said they had gotten a call about a single-vehicle crash.
When officers got to the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was flown to Shock Trauma where he was later pronounced dead. Police later identified him as Marvin Scott, 32, of Milford Mill.
"We're currently combing the scene and they're looking for any little bit of evidence to bring this incident together," Danielle Moore, of the Baltimore County Police Department, said.
Usman Ayyaz is the Owner of Buon Giorno, a restaurant that is across the street from where the shooting took place.
"It was shocking for us," Ayyaz said.
He said police came in asking for surveillance video, but that they didn't capture any part of the shooting.
"I had little crimes like people breaking in, people fighting, people cars are broken, but I've never heard of this sort of crime where somebody got shot actually," Ayyaz said.
There's no word on what led up to the shooting or any suspects involved.
