Week 5 Fantasy Tips With Phil Gentile
Phil Gentile with Purple Reign joined the Scott Garceau Show to give us his week 5 fantasy football insight.
With Andrew Luck sitting in his second straight game tonight in Houston; Phil tells us how that effects fantasy leagues and tells us who he thinks is worth a start. "There are a ton of question marks in this game. (Matt) Hasselbeck is going to play but he was in the hospital the last couple days with a virus so I would be wary. I'm going to start Donte Moncrief and T.Y. Hilton but I'm going to temper expectations for sure. On the otherside of the ball it looks like Vontae Davis is going to be out. I really like DeAndre Hopkins in this one if he has a Quarterback to throw him the ball. It's a weird game. It's one of those Thursday night games, its not going to be pretty for sure."
Martavis Bryant returns to action after serving a four game suspension. Scott & Jeremy asked if Bryant is worth a start without Ben Roethlisberger throwing him the ball. "I would be hard pressed to start him. Especially with Michael Vick as his Quarterback. I can see him having a one catch for thirty yard performance but I can also see him blowing up but I'm going to air on the side of caution and see what he does then start him in my lineup next week if he does well."
Tight End is a thin position especially with Greg Olsen on bye. One caller asked Phil for a sneaky Tight End pickup that could pay off this week. "The Raiders defense does not know how to cover Tight Ends so I think Owen Daniels could get into the end zone for the Broncos this week."
