WEATHER BLOG: Plenty Of Sunshine For Memorial Day
Things are looking great in the near-term with plenty of sunshine for Memorial Day, and it will be quite warm as well across the region.
Fortunately, it will not be overly humid and a gentle afternoon breeze is expected.
We really couldn't ask for better weather to close out the extended holiday weekend.
High pressure over the mid-Atlantic will slide eastward Monday night into Tuesday as a broad upper-level trough approaches.
By Tuesday, with sufficient instability, pulse-type severe storms will be possible, but a widespread severe weather outbreak seems unlikely.
I will have your updated First Warning forecast tonight at 11 p.m. on WJZ.
