Vivien T. Thomas Medical Arts Academy Briefly Placed On Lockdown After Student Sprayed Mace
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A medical high school in Baltimore was briefly placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after a student sprayed mace in a classroom, officials said.
Chopper 13 saw multiple police cars in front of Vivien T. Thomas Medical Arts Academy in the Franklin Square neighborhood around noon. A City Schools information officer told WJZ "a student sprayed mace in a classroom. The lockdown has been lifted."
There is no word of any injuries stemming from the incident.
