MTA Mobility Bus Crashes Into NW Baltimore Yard

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Crews responded to two separate vehicle versus building crashes in the Baltimore area Thursday afternoon.

One crash involved an MDOT MTA MobilityLink bus crashing into a yard near Rogers and Liberty Heights avenues in Baltimore.

The MobilityLink bus was traveling north on Liberty Heights Avenue at around 2 p.m. when it left the roadway and hit the roadway and a tree in a private yard.

The vehicle did not have any passengers at the time and the driver was not injured, according to an MTA spokesperson.

The crash is currently under investigation by the MDOT MTA Police.

Another crash that happened around the same time involved an SUV crashing into a business in the 1700 block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville.

A woman and a firefighter suffered minor injuries in that crash.
