5 University Of Maryland Students Displaced After House Fire
COLLEGE PARK (WJZ) - An early morning house fire near the campus of the University of Maryland has left five students without a place to stay.
According to WUSA, the fire started around 2 a.m. in the 6700 block of Baltimore Avenue in Hyattsville. A total of five students are now displaced, but none of them were injured.

Two firefighters were injured during a partial collapse of the building which caused a mayday call to be made. Both firefighters have non-life threatening injuries.
Damages are estimated at $175,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
