Udemadu's 24 lead Morgan State past Coppin State 89-86 in OT

BALTIMORE (AP) — Wynston Tabbs gave Morgan State the lead on a jumper with 25 seconds left in overtime as the Bears got past Coppin State 89-86 on Saturday night.

Allen Udemadu scored 24 points and had seven rebounds for the Bears (5-14, 1-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Tabbs scored 24 points and added four steals. Will Thomas had 17 points and shot 7 for 14 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. The Bears broke a six-game losing streak.

Ryan Archey finished with 26 points for the Eagles (2-15, 1-2). Aa'Reyon Jones added 15 points for Coppin State. Greg Spurlock also had 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

Both teams next play Saturday. Morgan State hosts Howard and Coppin State goes on the road to play Norfolk State.
