2 Suspects Arrested For Crack Cocaine In Glen Burnie
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ)--Two people face multiple drug charges after an officer discovers baggies of crack cocaine, heroin and cash during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.
Sometime Thursday morning, a patrol officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Crain Highway and Interstate 97.
The officer soon found that the driver, 43-year-old Yavonne Lynne Stewart, was driving under a suspended license. When the male passenger, 33-year-old Antron T. Bulow, was asked to exit the vehicle until a tow truck arrived, police say a baggie of crack cocaine was spotted in plain view on the floorboard in the area where Bulow was seated.
A warrant check revealed Bulow had an outstanding parole retake warrant.
In all, police recovered 23 baggies of crack cocaine, heroin with a total weight of 7.67 grams, drug paraphernalia and $151 in cash as drug-related proceeds.
Both suspects have been charged with drug possession, drug possession with the intent to distribute, and drug paraphernalia.
Stewart was also cited for numerous traffic violations.
