Person In Critical Condition after Crash Between Tractor-Trailer On Fire, Car On I-83

BALTIMORE COUNTY (WJZ) — Baltimore County Fire crews were on the scene of a crash on Old York Road and York Road near the Pennsylvania state line, where a car carrier trailer is trapped under an overturned tractor.
The tractor-trailer was on fire, and one person had just been rescued but sustained life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Crews worked to extinguish the fire and control a fuel spill at the time.
Both traffic lanes southbound were closed, as well as both shoulders and right off-ramp.
