Tracking Tropical Storm Fay: Center Of Storm Passes Along East Coast
OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Fay triggered flood warnings for parts of the Eastern Shore, including Worcester County and Ocean City, Maryland, on Friday.
The National Weather Service reported between three and six inches of rain fell in parts of the state.
While all flood watches and warnings for Maryland have expired, some rain will continue into the evening.
By noon, Ocean City, Maryland, had reported more than five inches of rain. More than four inches fell in Berlin.
The center of the storm later moved up the Delaware and New Jersey coasts.
Fay has strengthened a bit, with max sustained winds at 60 MPH. Faye has also picked up the pace a bit, moving north at 12 MPH. The center of Fay will move along the Delaware and New Jersey Coast today with rain continuing to soak northern and eastern #Maryland. pic.twitter.com/Paz4Vxn5Qm

Fay brought mostly cloudy skies and some rain for the Baltimore area, but the heaviest storms stayed to the east.
