Tests Link Gun Used At Frederick High To Other Shootings
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A prosecutor says ballistics test show that the gun used in the Frederick High School shooting earlier this year is linked to other reports of shots fired in the city.
The Frederick News-Post reports that Assistant State's Attorney Brett Jackson made the statement during a bond review hearing for 21-year-old Brandon Tyler on Thursday, but did not elaborate on the other shootings.
Jackson says the information is contained in about 1,300 pages of evidence turned over to the defense.
Tyler is accused of being the gunman in a February shooting in which two teenage boys were wounded outside a nighttime basketball game at the school.
Tyler has been held without bond since his March arrest. On Thursday, Judge Scott Rolle rejected Tyler's attorney's request for a bond.
