Teen Killed In Single-Vehicle Accident In Elkridge
ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) -- An 18-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Elkridge.
According to Howard County police, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 12000 block of Old Frederick Road.
Police said the teen, identified as Garrett Raymond Bonin of Elkridge, died when the 2003 Subaru Outback he was driving veered off the road and overturned.
A preliminary investigation revealed Bonin was not wearing his seatbelt and speed was a factor in the crash.
Old Frederick Road was closed for four hours while police investigated the crash.
