SUV Sinks At Sandy Point Beach As Owner Tries To Launch Boat
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- No one was hurt when an SUV became completely submerged in the water at Sandy Point State Park Wednesday, according to Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police.
The boat owner was backing it down the ramp to launch and either did not set his brakes or had a malfunction.
The SUV, boat and trailer continued to roll backward and into the water.
The boat, in the background of the photo above, floated free.
The SUV and trailer sunk and had to be towed out of the water.
