Successful Attorney In Baltimore Praises Perserverance

Tiffany Franc is a successful female attorney in Baltimore who takes the bull by the horns and keeps riding till she reaches her goal. She specializes in bankruptcy and family law at PK Law and acknowledges educational nurturing for her attainments.

Where did you receive your higher education?

"I have a B.A. from Frostburg State University in Law & Society and a J.D. from University of Baltimore."

How has your educational background contributed to your career accomplishments thus far?

"At Frostburg, I was pushed by faculty and staff to get involved in campus activities and to take my learning 'outside of the classroom.' From this I was able to develop my leadership and interpersonal skills, learn how to manage organizations and people and also how to deal with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I credit Frostburg with single-handedly preparing me for the real world in this regard."

As a leader in law enforcement, what personal attributes do you think most contributed to your current success?

"I believe my willingness to speak my mind and to stand up for what I believe in has been integral in my success. You can't be afraid to say 'no' and you can't be afraid to hear 'no'; ask for exactly what you want."

In your opinion, how important is community service to a success?

"Community service is very important to success. You show your clientele that you are passionate about something other than your career. Community service helps you find your personal passions and stay engaged and in-touch with the community. Most importantly, community service helps you pay it forward from your own successes and if you can't take your own success and turn it into something that can help others, you turn into Scrooge."

Do you have any advice that you would like to share with future leaders?

"Find your passion and even if you don't do that 9-5 everyday, integrate it into your life in other ways. And always, always when you fail, get up and try again. Failing at something doesn't mean you can't do it, it means you have to find another way to accomplish it."
