Student Apprehended After Sexual Assault On Loyola Maryland Campus

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore City Police respond to a reported sexual assault on the Loyola University Maryland campus involving two students.

School officials say it was reported Saturday, Oct. 4

WJZ has learned it happened inside the Campion Residence Hall on campus.

Officials say the alleged suspect has been apprehended and will not return to campus. They add that a timely warning notice was not sent to the student body because there was never a risk, and support services have been provided to all students involved.

No further information has been released, as the school says it "remains committed to protecting the privacy of the students involved."
