Steve Smith Sr. Eyeing 2016 Return

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Steve Smith Sr. is not one to go down without a fight. After he originally announced his retirement, many fans did not believe he would leave the field that easily.

Once he was taken out of the game early in the 2015 season with an Achilles injury, fans suspected he'd try to return with an even bigger vengeance to go out with a bang worthy of the wide receiver.

Smith has been pretty quiet lately, but just a few days ago, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that Smith is not ready to retire and that he'll return in 2016 as long as he's healthy enough to do so, to which Steve Smith responded on Twitter, "Damn ya'll know more about me than I know about myself."

Steve Smith Sr. is currently in the running for 2015 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year for his off-the-field efforts.

Do you think Steve Smith will be back again in 2016?
