Steve Kyler Joins Sports Rehab
Steve Kyler, writer for Basketball Insiders, talks with Bob Haynie and Glenn Younes about the latest NBA off-season news, including LeBron's latest decision to opt out of his contract with the Miami Heat.
Many in the NBA fan and media circles have assumed the "Big Three" would all explore other options, given lack of production and a threat of salary cuts, but Kyler explains that's not quite the case.
"I've talked to some of the Miami Heat players. None of them are selfish. None of them are saying 'I want to be my own guy.' They want more help, and I think it's up to Pat Riley to get that done."
Kyler also noted that the Chicago Bulls, in hopes of acquiring potential free-agent Carmelo Anthony, will be open to a sign-and-trade with one of their pieces other than Derrick Rose. "They have two picks in the upcoming draft, which they're also willing to move," Kyler added.
