Steve Davis: Grading The Ravens Draft
Now that it's over, everybody is putting a grade on the Ravens draft. The grade should be TBA or IDK.
Let's face it, there is no way to know how the guys in the 3rd round or later will turn out. Go back and look at the grades the Ravens have received, and they have A's for some of their worst drafts (like 2010). This looks good, where they addressed areas of need.
Let's face it though, outside of two picks, Ronnie Stanley and Keenan Reynolds, how many of the other nine players had you ever heard of before this weekend? I do think it will be interesting how they find spots for five fourth round picks. Only once have they drafted more than two players in the fourth round, so it is really odd to carry that many fourth round picks, although you better believe all five fourth rounders will make the team!
