Stan Charles Of PressBoxOnline Joins Scott & Jeremy To Talk Orioles
Stan Charles, a.k.a Stan the Fan, of PressBoxOnline.com joined Scott & Jeremy to talk all things Orioles.
Garceau asked Stan what he thinks of Dylan Bundy to which he said, "He could crap out again next week and be done for the year, but he also has an equal chance of pitching about 50 or 60, high-leverage, middle-of-the-game innings, where the Orioles starter hasn't been very good, and he could be the guy to hold it to turn it over to the bull pen. I think he has a chance to play a really important role on this team and he could be kind of a wildcard within their hunt to win the division."
What about the defense? Stan says, "I still think that the best right fielder they have on this team is Chris Davis."
Hall of Fame reliever Goose Gossage commented on the state of the game in MLB. Scott asked Stan, "Do you think the game's in bad shape?"
"The only thing to me, at the age of 64, you like to think that experience means something. The older I'm getting, and the more the analytics come in, and I don't know the new terminology, for the first time in my life sometimes I question whether I know what I'm talking about," said Stan.
