Suspect Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Young Woman In Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) -- A suspect has been taken into custody and charged with the murder of a young woman in Aberdeen.

Police arrested 21-year-old Andrew Sun Lee at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace.

Investigators say Lee acted alone when he brutally attacked 27-year-old Erica Satterfield, of Baltimore, while she was visiting family in the Aberdeen area.

A witness tells WJZ he found the victim overnight in the 100 block of N. Post Road. She had been stabbed multiple times in the chest, neck and face.

"At that time, I went and grabbed a towel and applied pressure to her wounds to try to help her out," the man said.

Satterfield was taken to an area hospital, where she later died.

Police say Lee had gone to the emergency room to be treated for several cuts he sustained during the attack.

At this time, police say there is no known motive. Investigators are trying to determine if Lee and Satterfield knew each other.
