Sports Rehab: Mike DeCourcy talking College Hoops
Mike DeCourcy, college basketball writer from the Sporting News, joined Bob and Glenn to discuss the opening of the college basketball season and breakdown the contenders for the National Championship.
The 2014 College Basketball season is now in full swing with teams now in the non conference portion of their schedules. There are some prominent programs facing off tonight as Kentucky will play Kansas and Duke facing off against Michigan St. But there are some other teams that you should keep your eye on this season. One of those teams is Wisconsin. DeCourcy feels that Badgers frontcourt player Frank Kaminski is one of the best big man in the country but maybe not be the best player on his own team. "He can out the ball on the floor, he can shoot it, and now he has a post game. He's a very versatile player."
As for the Maryland Terps who are now apart of the Big Ten, DeCourcy feels that the Terps have some good players and could good either way as far possibly making the Big Dance. "In order for them to be a good team, the freshmen Trimble and Wiley need to be good and Dez Wells needs to be all league caliber player."
