Sports Rehab: Keith Cavanaugh talking Terps Football and Basketball
Keith Cavanaugh of the Terrapin Times joined Bob and Glenn to discuss Maryland basketball and football as well as basketball recruiting.
Maryland is coming off a controversial 20-19 win over Penn St last Saturday in Happy Valley. The Terps captains didn't shake hands with the Penn St captains at midfield before the coin toss which led to the Big Ten levying a $10,000 fine. When asked if "Shake Gate" had a positive effect on recruiting, Keith said , "…in the last two years, [the Terps] beat every border geographical rival: in Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. So that helps, as those are four of the core schools they go up against for most of these local recruits. So it can only help."
