Shake Shack Opens In Charm City
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)--There's a whole lot of shaking happening in Charm City.
Jessica Kartalija has more on a New York City hot spot that is now calling Charm City home.
A little shake-up downtown after months of construction the popular chain Shake Shack is officially open for business.
Some stood in the freezing temperatures to be first in line.
"The burgers are really good. The shakes are super good," said Cindy Tseng.
Worth the wait for some Shake Shack swag.
The burger chain started with stand in New York City.
"We have been trying to get to Baltimore for years and years and we finally found this great spot here on Pratt in the heart of the Inner Harbor. We're just thrilled," said Shake Shack CEO, Randy Garutti.
The shake sells more than just sandwiches, they have their own brew and custom desserts.
5% of all sales of this salty balty desert goes to Moveable Feast.
The eco-friendly Shake Shack is all part of the Pratt Street Renewal Plan and judging by the long lines it's very good.
