Maryland Weather: Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Watches Over
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of the state until 8 p.m. Sunday.
The affected counties are Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's, Saint Mary's, Washington and Baltimore City.

A thunderstorm warning was also in effect for Montgomery and Prince George's Counties until 6:45 p.m. and for Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard and Baltimore City until 7:15 p.m.

Damaging winds of up to 70 mph possible as well as hail.
During a severe thunderstorm watch, people should be prepared to move to a place of safety as the storm approaches.
