Flood Warning In Effect For Baltimore Into Friday, Thousands Without Power After Severe Storms

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After another round of severe weather in parts of Maryland on Thursday, an Areal Flood Warning is in effect for Baltimore City through 12:15 a.m.

Heavy rain that came down in Baltimore as a result of the weather caused streets throughout part of the City to flood.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were also active through most of Thursday night.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties until 10 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for Baltimore City until 10 p.m.

 

There were also Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued for Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Montgomery, Washington, Cecil and Kent Counties.

One viewer sent in a photo of a lightning strike in Dundalk.

At last check, about 11,000 people are without power in the area.
