Ryan Mink Talks Ravens Rookie Mini-Camp, Mike Flacco & More
Ryan Mink, a BaltimoreRavens.com Staff Writer, reviews the Ravens mini-camp from this past weekend with Norris and Davis.
A Flacco was on the Ravens' practice field on Saturday, but it wasn't the one you're thinking of.
Mink comments on Mike Flacco taking the field: "Well, he got an invite because the Ravens needed some tight end bodies out there. He obviously hopes to be here to catch passes from Joe during training camp, but the chances are probably low at that happening. It's a 'why not' scenario."
CB Tavon Young: "He's got really quick feet. He showed a little but of that toughness we heard about. I definitely think he's got potential and Harbaugh was impressed with him."
OT Ronnie Stanley: "He's quick off the snap and he's got good feet. You can seem him get in to the right positions. I think it was a good first impression. He's a technically sound left tackle."
LG Alex Lewis: "He could potentially play right tackle, that's kind of the beauty of him and he has flexibility, but for right now he's at left guard. He kind of reminds me of a lot of the Ravens' picks in the middle rounds for these offensive lineman. You get these corn-fed Midwestern dudes who are just big guys and that's what I get from my first impression. "
