Ron Turcotte is a former jockey who rode Secretariat to the Triple Crown in 1973.
Ron joined Ed and Steve to talk about winning the Triple Crown and give a preview of this year's race for the Triple Crown which begins with the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
Ron started by talking about what he felt about seeing another Triple Crown winner last year saying "my wife and I were sitting at the edge of our seats and really cheering for him...there should have been 4 different horses to win it between American Pharoah and the last triple crown." As for whether or not jockey's are superstitious about Gray horses Ron said "No I don't think so, it's just color...I'm not superstitious so I don't believe in those things."
Ron went on to talk about his experience of winning the Triple Crown and how it changed his life and career in the horse racing industry.
