Ron Sirak Thinks Dunne Will Feel The Pressure In The Final Round Of The Open Championship
Ron Sirak is the Senior Writer for Golf Digest and a published author.
Ron joined Ed and Steve to talk about the final round of the Open Championship happening today at St. Andrews.
Steve asked Ron about his take on Tiger Woods' play at the Open Championship. Ron believes "there's a disconnect between what he's saying and what we're seeing," as Tiger missed the cut and continued his struggles at major tournaments.
Ed asked Ron if he thinks amateur Paul Dunne can continue his great play and win the Open. Ron thinks the pressure of playing the final round against big name golfers at a major will be too much to handle, "I do think eventually the magnitude of the moment will get to him."
Ed asked Ron who he thinks could win the British Open, "You really have to be impressed with how tough Spieth is, but there are a couple of lurkers who could challenge, Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott could go out early and post a number and win the tournament watching in the clubhouse."
