Rob Carlin Previews Game 6 Of Capitals Vs Penguins Semi-Final Series
Rob Carlin, analyst for Comcast Sportsnet Mid-Atlantic who hosts the pre and post game shows for the Washington Capitals, joined Ed and Rob to talk about Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Final series.
Carlin explains the atmosphere for tonight's game and what he thinks will happen saying, "It's going to be a zoo. I remember going there last year for the playoffs. Verizon Center is loud and this place is every bit as loud...if they play like they did in the 3rd then I like our chances if they play like they did in the 2nd I don't like the chances."
The Capitals have been struggling to put together a full sixty minutes of solid hockey this post-season. Rob said,"certainly the Penguins have something to do with it, but they were like this against Toronto in the 1st round...I don't know why they've been so Jekyll and Hyde in the post-season, maybe it's because the results where there in the regular season so we all overlooked their deficiencies."
Rob also talked about Sidney Crosby returning so quick from yet another concussion, and whats happening out West with the Nashville Predators advancing to the Conference finals to face the winner of the Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks series.
