Remains Found In Owings Mills In October Identified

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- The remains found in Owings Mills in October have been identified by the state medical examiner's office.

Police say remains of 38-year-old Kenneth Henson of Gwynn Oak were found on Oct. 11 in the area of Owings Mills Boulevard and Gwynnbrook Avenue.

His death was ruled a homicide.

Henson was reported missing from his home in the 600 block of Kirkwood Road in May.

A couple walking through the wooded area discovered the human skull.

Police came back to search the area three more times with Towson University students in a Forensic Science group along with Bay Area and Chesapeake search and rescue dogs. Additional human remains were found during those searches.

Homicide detectives need the public's assistance in gathering information that will assist in identifying the person responsible for killing Henson.
