Ray Rice Thanks Ravens, Apologizes For Domestic Violence Incident

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Ray Rice issued a statement Friday morning thanking the city of Baltimore and the Ravens as well as apologizing for the domestic violence incident.

The statement was made to his Facebook page.

Rice thanks everyone for the love and support over the seven years he was in Baltimore and says this isn't a goodbye.

Sources told the Sun Rice and wife, Janay, may move back to his home state of New York.

We'll always be grateful for the love we've received from all of our fans and supporters, and for winning a Super Bowl.

Rice also apologized for the domestic violence incident saying there's no excuse:

 To all the kids who looked up to me, I'm truly sorry for letting you down, but I hope it's helped you learn that one bad decision can turn your dream into a nightmare. There is no excuse for domestic violence, and I apologize for the horrible mistake I made.
