Ray Lewis Selected For Super Bowl 50 Golden Team
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors have chosen the "Super Bowl 50 Golden Team" in honor of Super Bowl 50, celebrating the best overall career performances in the Super Bowl, the NFL announced today.
The Super Bowl 50 Golden Team is a list of outstanding individuals that make up the memories of some of the sport's greatest games showcased on its biggest platform.
The team roster consists of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, two offensive tackles, two guards, one center, two interior defensive linemen, two defensive ends, two inside linebackers, two outside linebackers, two cornerbacks, two safeties, one kicker, one punter, and one return specialist. One head coach has also been chosen.
The Super Bowl Golden Team includes 22 Pro Football Hall of Famers such as guard Larry Allen, defensive tackle Joe Greene, punter Ray Guy, running back Franco Harris, inside linebacker Ray Lewis, safety Ronnie Lott, quarterback Joe Montana, head coach Chuck Noll, wide receiver Jerry Rice, cornerback Deion Sanders, wide receiver Lynn Swann, guard Gene Upshaw, defensive end Reggie White and more.
