Ravens First Round Pick Joins Scott & Jeremy
Baltimore Ravens first round pick Breshad Perriman joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to talk about making his dream come true and reaching the NFL. The NFL Draft is an exciting time for any player who could be selected, Breshad talked about how he felt when Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome called him and told him that he's coming to Baltimore. "When I got that call I was very happy, excited, and anxious all at the same time. When I got to the Baltimore facility, it felt like a dream come true, like I was in a movie or something."
Reaching the NFL is a lifelong dream for most, and for a select few it comes true. Breshad talked about what has motivated him to reach this level and who has made an impact on his journey to the NFL. "My father had a major influence on me. Since I was really young, not even ten years old yet, I looked up to him. That's really what got me into football, was trying to be like him. Then I developed a great passion for the game, and decided I wanted to start playing for myself, and make a name."
All players are critiqued for months before they are finally selected.Scott and Jeremy asked Perriman what he feels he needs to improve to become an impact player. "I need to concentrate on coming in and out of my routs faster. I've been working hard on it, but it's something I need to get better at."
