Ravens Draft Preview With Brent Sobleski

Brent Sobleski with Bleacher Report joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn today to help preview the 2016 Combine and NFL Draft.

The Ravens are in somewhat of unknown territory this year as they have their first pick in the top 10 since 2003 when they drafted Terrell Suggs with the 10th overall pick. Scott Garceau talked about the Ravens need for a pass rusher or Cornerback; and he asked Brent for some options the Ravens will have at #6. "Let's bring up a name like Noah Spence. Yes, we have the off the field issues where he was kicked out of Ohio State. He has admitted publicly that he has had an addiction to molly. He's been upfront about it. He was drug tested every week by his coaching staff since he's been at Eastern Kentucky so he's been very open and honest about his issues. When you look at him purely as a prospect we're discussing arguably the best pure pass rusher in this years class. He went to the Senior Bowl and completely dominated. Spence was by far the most talented player there and the most dominant overall."

Brent then listed off some possible Cornerback options for the Ravens, "You have three Cornerbacks you can legitimately make an argument that are top ten prospects. Florida State's Jalen Ramsey is a freak of nature. A guy that still has aspirations of being an Olympic athlete so this is the type of guy you want to watch during Combine weekend. I personally like Clemson's Mackensie Alexander. I think he's the best cover corner in this years draft. He may not have the size that everyone prefers in today's NFL but he can cover you as well as anyone in this years class and then there's Florida's Vernon Hargreaves who is a guy with silky smooth, fluid hips. The type of guy that you want to have in coverage with really good ball skills overall."
