Ravens Bring Back Challenger the Bald Eagle For Special Salute to Service

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Ravens fans are encouraged to get into their seats early to catch the pre-game festivities before Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Challenger the Bald Eagle will fly around the bowl during the National Anthem once again. Challenger performed before the Week 1 match up with the Bills on Sept. 11.

In addition to the Bald Eagle flight, the Ravens have several other events and activities planned as part of the Salute to Service game.

A-10s from the Maryland National Guard will fly over the stadium after the anthem, and Ravens players will be led onto the field by service members from each of the five branches of the military.

An Air Force band will perform on RavensWalk and Presidential Battery Salute cannons will be on display outside of Gate A.
