ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) -- Aberdeen police responded to the 300 block of Center Deen Avenue after a report of a person with a weapon on Friday.

Officers were called at around 12:56 p.m. after they received a call from a female who alleged a man pointed a gun at her while she was playing with a child.

Police say the man went into a residence only to return outside allegedly pointing the gun at the female's head.

Officers created a perimeter and had assistance from the Harford County Sheriff's Office and Havre de Grace Police Department.

It was unclear if the man was still inside of the residence or if he had fled which is why police say they put the neighborhood on lockdown.
