Police Track Vehicle Theft Suspect Via Current Location Of Stolen iPad
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—A suspect involved in multiple vehicle thefts is arrested after police say he was tracked from an iPad he had previously stolen.
On Wednesday, 61-year-old Sheldon Tubaya, of Annapolis, is arrested when a victim told police the current location of his stolen iPad.
Police say Tubaya entered the victim's vehicle in the early morning hours of July 29th and stole his Apple iPad. The suspect was later tracked in the woods near Tucker Street.
Police say at the scene they recovered other stolen items in connection to three additional vehicle thefts, including an engagement ring that was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Green Street last weekend.
Tubaya is facing multiple theft and burglary charges.
He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
Police say Tubaya has been arrested at least 12 times in the past 10 years.
