Police Seek 4 Men In Indecent Exposure Cases On Metro Trains

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Transit police are trying to identify four separate men who exposed themselves to riders on Metro trains in the District of Columbia.

Transit police say in apparently unrelated incidents, four men exposed themselves to female passengers between late August and this month. Three of the incidents happened on the red line, and one happened on the green line.

In several cases, the men would flash the women just before a train reached a station, and then run out as the doors opened.

Transit police officials say the four incidents represent an increase in indecent exposure reports. They say they're concerned because indecent exposure can often be a gateway crime to more serious sexual misconduct.

Transit police have released surveillance photos of the men who exposed themselves on its website.
